Yes, another Rupert/Emma layout. I have so many unused photos lying around for years now. This photo for one was a gift by an old LJ friend of mine, Carla. It’s not a real photo, but a photo-manip.
I have used Pencil Line‘s Sketch 141 by Anna Bowkis for this one. Really not too happy with this one. I’d wanted to experiment with the grungy-look. It’s the first time for me. I have used a lot of ‘chalk-effect’; mostly for the edges.

“Being in love” — That was the only line I could think of for the journaling section. I just wrote it with a thin-tipped brown pen.
These flowers are my first trial with my new Cricut Expression. Although, one thing I dislike about the machine is the cutting mat. It’s so bloody sticky that it makes it so hard to peel off my paper. Most of my paper tore when I tried to take them off.
Anyways, I have used SCAL2 to print the Begonia flower set from the 3D Flowers SVG Kit I got from SVGCuts. As my first attempt, I’m pretty impressed with the results. All thanks to the Cricut. I have used my stylus and used bits of red chalk ink onto the petals’ edges.
All those small pieces of patterned paper are self-printed. The big round and my main 12″ x 12″ paper are from that wholesale paper I got from EBay a week ago. Like I’d mentioned, they’re regretfully brand-less.
I like it. Nice use of chalk.
